Kate Guillen

Kate Guillen joins Socha Capital is our Director of Operations. For nearly a decade, Kate’s focus has been on optimizing firm operations in the financial services industry. She founded Simplicity Ops in 2020 and has since been dedicating her time to coaching advisors, researching, serving as a thought leader in the advisory community, and more.

Kate was born, raised, and still resides in San Diego, California today. She enjoys being a mom to her two daughters and spending time with her husband, cat, and 12 chickens. In her free time, Kate loves hanging out on the beach, traveling with her family, and entertaining friends at home. She stays active in her community through volunteer work with the San Diego Community Resource Center and San Diego Women in Business.
